With this OS X app I wrote, you can download songs from [Grooveshark](http://grooveshark.com). As with [MPlayer](http://www.mplayerhq.hu), check your local laws before using this app. Visit the link to download it! (OS X 10.5 or greater.)

The workings of SwingFish are really quite simple. Using Wireshark I sniffed the network traffic as I played songs on Grooveshark. Lo and behold, the songs are transmitted as MP3 files with an easily detected URL. I simply attached a "proxy" class to the web view and it's easy to catch the songs. With a little javascript, removing the obnoxious ads on the side of the standard Grooveshark page was a snap. The rest, well, that's all unimportant (preferences, updating, etc.).
