var cols = 30,
    rows = 30,
    tableMarkup = "";

for (x = 0; x < cols; x++) {
	tableMarkup += "<tr>";
	for (y = 0; y < rows; y++) {
		tableMarkup += "<td>   </td>";
	}
	tableMarkup += "</tr>";
}

$(table).html(tableMarkup);

This makes generic table markup in JavaScript based on number of rows and columns. Is there a better way to do this?
